I’ve managed to knock off two of those three (book ideas always floating about, fear of putting pen to paper always getting in the damn way), but recently came across a potential fourth item: be fitted for a bespoke-tailored suit from a visit to Savile Row. I came across The English Cut a few months back and have had it on my mind and on my list to post about ever since. Now, it may carry the same cost as a small car, but reading the description of how to be properly fitted for one of these masterpieces is fascinating to me, and thinking about the level of quality stitched in with every pass of thread is very exciting. The tradition, the materials, the measurements, and the time invested to create a single suit all add up to what must be a wonderful experience.Step out the door, click your heels together and be on your way…
