Can’t really believe I’m posting a cool technology idea from Microsoft, but here it is. They acquired Seadragon and brought in house their image visualization application, which morphed into Photosynth. Watch the demo from March of this year at TED.

Not sure how to react to this. Hopefully good things come out of this, although I can see a few redundancies in the product offerring now: which ones will they choose? Freehand or Illustrator (duh)?
